QLD:Fevola to pay money to children's charity

Fallen AFL star BRENDAN FEVOLA will pay about two thousand dollars to a children's
charity to avoid a public nuisance charge.

FEVOLA was involved in a stoush with Queensland police during the early hours of New
Year's Day in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley .. resulting in him being charged with public
nuisance and obstructing police.

He pleaded guilty but entered mediation talks earlier this month to have the charges dropped.

His lawyer's told the Brisbane Magistrates Court today that the mediation has been
successful .. and FEVOLA will pay about two thousand dollars to Variety Queensland.
