SA: Police trial new electronic crime-fighting program

South Australian police have unveiled the latest computer program to help in the fight
against terrorism.

Known as the Zero Skills Analysis Program .. it allows police without specialist computer
training to conduct analysis in the field to detect electronic crime.

The program .. developed jointly by SA police and the University of South Australia
.. will also be used to investigate a range of other offences .. including child pornography
.. counterfeiting and identity fraud.

Local police will trial and evaluate the software over next few months.
