NT: Stolen generation compensation case starts in Darwin

DARWIN, Feb 28 AAP - Two Aborigines who were forcibly taken away from their families as
children will start a federal court case tomorrow, with implications for thousands of
Australia's so-called 'stolen generation'.

Lorna Cubillo, 60, and Peter Gunner, 51, are suing the Commonwealth government for
compensation, for what they say is the lifelong hurt that was inflicted on them when they were
taken from their families at about the age of seven.

They are expected to tell the federal court in Darwin they suffered …
